BunnyBot

On December 19, Team 1540 hosted the third annual BunnyBot Scrimmage at Catlin Gabel. FIRST Robotics teams from 13 schools participated in the scrimmage.

BunnyBot has grown tremendously since we first introduced it as a brief after-school event intented more for the benefit of rookie Flaming Chickens than for other teams. This year, the competition took up an entire Saturday and drew teams from all over Oregon.

We would like to congratulate Cleveland High’s Team 2733, the PigMice, the winners of the contest. One of Team 1540's two BunnyBot teams nabbed second place, below the PigMice by only a single point.

After seeing such wonderful growth and interest, we will definitely continue the BunnyBot tradition next season.
