Our Flaming Chicken cavorts with enthusiastic middle schoolers

Teams from all around Oregon came to Catlin Gabel for FIRSTFare 2009 on Saturday, October 31. We all attended an assortment of panels on topics from robot design to marketing to building websites to how FIRST can help students get into college. Some of our Flaming Chickens led a few of the panels, while visitors from other teams and schools hosted others. The objective was to help newcomers learn what FIRST robotics is all about and introduce previous members to new ideas. The day was full of excitement and invaluable information that helped us to start the season off on the right foot!
